2 million people will “Promise” and “Save Your Food Campaign” will break a world record!
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli, who started a “I Promise” campaign within the scope of the “Save Your Food, Protect Your Table” Project, said, “We aim to break the record for the most signed online campaign in the world with 2 million people.”
A new phase has been passed in the “Save Your Food, Protect Your Table” Project carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli, who started a “I Promise” campaign for all segments of the society, added, “With the campaign, we aim to break the record for the most signed online campaign in the world with 2 million people.”
A new stage has been adopted after the said project that has been implemented by FAO and met with great interest across Turkey within the framework of food losses and combating wastage.
A digital signature movement was launched on the www.sofranasahipcik.com website, which was created for the campaign, that all citizens would “promise” to combat food waste.
