General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprises (TİGEM) Karacabey Directorate of Agricultural Enterprise sold 49 purebred Arabian running foals for 8 million 466 thousand liras with a tender.
In the tender, which was held with the auction method, the foals found buyers with prices varying between 40 and 800 thousand liras.
The most expensive of the event was the 2-year-old male colt named “Balkı Tay”, which was bought by Murat Kaya for 800 thousand liras. “Koçakalp” from the foals found buyers for 500 thousand liras and “Eyyamı Bahur” for 360 thousand liras.
TİGEM earned a total of 8 million 466 thousand liras from the sale of 49 horses. 11 foals were not sold in the tender.
TİGEM Deputy General Manager Ali Osman Kıyak made a statement after the tender, stating that the highest foal found buyers for 800 thousand liras and said, “It was a pretty good sale. We observed together that the successes in the field were also seen in sales.”
