In March, compared to the same month of the previous year, chicken egg production decreased by 8.8 percent, the number of chickens slaughtered soared by 8.2 percent and chicken meat production soared by 13.0 percent. In January-March period compared to the same period of the previous year, chicken egg production decreased by 9.9 percent, the number of slaughtered chickens soared by 8.6 percent and chicken meat production also soared by 12.0 percent.
