1 billion 276 million dollars export from the chocolate and confectionery sector…
Turkish chocolate and confectionery products have been exported to 185 countries.
Turkish confectionery and chocolate industry sweetened the mouth of the world. Turkish chocolate and confectionery exporters succeeded in exporting 1 billion 276 million dollars in 2020, under the shadow of the pandemic. The industry aims to export 1.5 billion dollars in 2021.
According to the data of Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EİB); Cereals Pulses Oil Seeds and Products sector achieved 41 percent alone while the country’s total exports reached to 17 billion 785 million dollars in terms of food exports in 2020.
The confectionery sector succeeded in exporting 644 million dollars and the chocolate confectionery products sector provided 633 million dollars export success.
While the total exports of the confectionery industry in 2020 amounted to 1 billion 276 million dollars, it was 1 billion 269 million dollars in 2019.
