Chef Ömür Akkor, who visited the Agricultural Technologies Cluster at TECHNOFEST 2025, said, “We need to bring technology and agriculture together and strengthen it. Agriculture has been practiced in this country for 12,000 years. This makes it the longest-running agricultural region in the world. That’s why TECHNOFEST’s agricultural initiative this year has been fantastic. Technology will once again facilitate agriculture.”
TECHNOFEST 2025, the world’s largest aviation, space and technology festival, continues to welcome visitors at Istanbul Atatürk Airport. Renowned chef Ömür Akkor, who visited the festival, toured the Agricultural Technologies Cluster and provided comments to Doğan News Agency (DHA).
Pointing out thar this year’s TECHNOFEST vision was quite surprising in terms of technology reaching all sectors in Türkiye, Akkor added, “Coming here as a chef, I was even more surprised. The Agricultural Technologies Cluster houses all the technological tools necessary for the initial development of agriculture. On one side, there’s the animal farm, the agricultural farm, plants and vegetables. There’s the harvester. It both sows and harvests.”
