Turkish olive sector places Canada on its radar!

The Turkish olive and olive oil sector has placed Canada on its radar…

The Aegean Olive and Olive Oil Exporters’ Association, which has intensified its marketing activities as part of the Ministry of Trade’s Distant Countries Strategy, has placed Canada on its radar. The Turkish olive sector aims to export 10,000 tonnes of olive oil and 5,000 tonnes of table olives to Canada.

The Aegean Olive and Olive Oil Exporters’ Association (EZZİB) organized a trade delegation to Toronto, one of Canada’s largest trade and cultural centres, from September 8-13, 2025. Sixteen export companies participated in the delegation. Turkish exporters held 190 bilateral business meetings with Canadian importers.
