Nihat Çelik, President of TÜDKİYEB, stated that the Twelfth Development Plan includes policies and targets for ovine breeding and expressed their satisfaction as a sector.
Nihat Çelik, President of the Central Union of Sheep and Goat Breeders of Türkiye (TÜDKİYEB), made various evaluations regarding ovine breeding in the Twelfth Development Plan.
Nihat Çelik, President of TÜDKİYEB, stated in his evaluation that the Twelfth Development Plan covering the years 2024-2028 was published in the repeated issue of the Official Gazette dated 1 November 2023 after being approved by the Turkish Grand National Assembly and said, “We would like to express our satisfaction as a sector that the twelfth development plan is built on solid foundations both in terms of agriculture as a whole and ovine breeding.”
Pointing out that development plans maintain their importance today, Çelik added, “In the new century of our Republic, I believe that the targets set will be achieved more easily if all institutions and organisations under the leadership of our State do their duty properly in mobilisation according to the road map determined by the twelfth development plan designed within the framework of the 2053 vision. In this sense, as the sector, we are always ready for duty”.
