The Board of Directors of the Western Anatolia Licensed Warehousing Association (BALDER) met with İbrahim Yumaklı, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry and made evaluations on the functioning of licensed warehouses and the problems in the sector.
Western Anatolia Licensed Warehousing Association (BALDER) Board of Directors met with Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı. A. Nejat Sağel, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Söke Commodity Exchange and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Büyük Menderes Agricultural Products Licensed Warehousing Inc. also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the functioning of licensed warehouses, the problems experienced in the sector and solution proposals were discussed in detail. The steps to be taken to make the licensed warehousing system more effective and efficient, legislative arrangements and issues regarding the future of the sector were exchanged.
While it was stated that the meeting was an important step in terms of the development of the licensed warehousing sector, sector representatives thanked Minister Yumaklı for his interest and support.
