Turkish organic food sector representatives ‘showed up’ in Germany…

The Turkish organic sector participated in the Nuremberg Biofach Organic Food Fair, the world’s largest marketplace in the organic sector, with 37 companies and exhibited the potential of the Turkish organic sector in order to get more share from the rising demand for organic products in Europe and all over the world.
At the Nuremberg Biofach Organic Food Fair held between 11-14 February 2025, where Turkish organic product manufacturers had the opportunity to introduce their new products to international suppliers and fair participants, the quality and capacity that Türkiye has reached in the organic product sector in recent years received full marks from organic product importers.

Mehmet Ali Işık, Sustainability and Organic Products Coordinator of the Aegean Exporters‘ Associations and Chair of the Aegean Dried Fruits and Products Exporters’ Association, said that Türkiye has exceeded 1 billion dollars in exports thanks to the investments made in the organic sector for 35 years and their goal is to reach 2 billion dollars.
‘At the fair, we see the latest developments in organic products in the world’
Sharing that approximately 2,300 exhibitors from 94 countries presented the diversity and innovative power of the organic world at BIOFACH 2025, Işık underlined that while the Turkish organic sector showed its strengths in the organic sector to the world at BIOFACH, they also had the opportunity to see the latest developments in the organic sector in the world. Işık said, “Our bilateral business meetings were very productive. As Turkish organic exporters, we aspire to be the number one supplier of Europe.”

The world’s largest organic products fair Biofach was also attended by Başak Egesel, Head of Good Agricultural Practices and Organic Agriculture Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Türkiye and Ministry officials.
