China International Import Expo was a success…
Turkish exporters successfully left China’s largest import fair behind. 15 Turkish companies worked overtime to ramp up Türkiye’s exports to China at China’s most prestigious fair, China International Import Expo 2023 (CIIE), held for the 6th time in Shanghai, China on 5-10 November 2023.
Jak Eskinazi, Coordinator Chair of the Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EIB), said that the Aegean Exporters’ Associations have undertaken the Türkiye National Participation Organisation of the China International Import Fair for 4 years.
“Exports from Türkiye to China soared by 6 percent to 2 billion 483 million dollars in the January – October period of 2023. We want to boost our exports to China to 12 billion dollars in the long term. More than 3,400 companies and 394 thousand professional visitors attended the fair. This shows that the fair has reached pre-pandemic levels,” Eskinazi said.
“Since 2020, the fair was closed to the physical participation of international exhibitors, it was fully opened for the first time this year. Furthermore, 15 Turkish companies provided extremely successful business connections,” Eskinazi added…
