The Russian Federation, Vietnam and Belarus were the top three countries for exports in the January-September 2025 period.

‘We are experiencing a productive year in terms of both production conditions and export connections.’

Ismail Kobya, Chairman of the DKİB Fisheries Sector Committee, told an AA correspondent that Turkish salmon’s share on world tables continues to grow day by day.

Noting that the revenue generated from exports in the first nine months of the year was encouraging for the sector, Kobya said, “The continued increase in interest in Turkish salmon gives us even more hope for the rest of the year. We believe we will exceed the export figure of 450 million dollars by the end of the year. The current trend shows that this is achievable.”
