İSBA TARIM AIMS TO PENETRATE INTO 7 CONTINENTS…

Stating that they have managed to attain their goal of introducing Turkish products to world markets while doing business in Europe, Alaettin Şenel said, “We decided to invest in Turgutlu district of Manisa province because we do not want to leave a market that was not penetrated in seven continents.”

ISBA Tarım (Agriculture), while dealing with the food wholesale business in Germany, came back to Turkey with a radical decision, gave the start of a new investment in Turgutlu region during pandemic period.

İrem Konserve, within the İSBA Tarım, will produce canned food, tomato paste and ready meals. The first phase of the factory is expected to be operational in December. Indicating that they dealt with food wholesale business from father to son for many years in Germany, İSBA Tarım Honorary Chairman Alaettin Şenel noted, “We decided to operate in Turkey in 2005.”

Second Generation at Work…

Reminding that they turned the business in Germany into an office, Şenel explained, “Today, we operate in Manisa-Turgutlu with a wide range of products from dried legumes to canned vegetables and fruits, from ready meals to pickles and olives. We are a family business. My son İsmail Şenel is undertook the management of İSBA Tarım. My daughter İrem Şenel is the head of İrem Konserve, one of our group companies. We continue our investments with the technological dominance and dynamism of the young generation and my experience.”

Target Market Seven Continents…

Pointing out that İrem Konserve has made a name for itself in European and Arab countries in sectors such as canned food, tomato paste and ready meals, Şenel continued as follows:

“We export approximately 95 percent of our production. We initiated two factories and a new investment of 11 thousand eight hundred square metres in total in Turgutlu Organized Industrial Zone. We make investments because we do not want to leave a market that we we have not penetrated into 7 continents.”

Dreams Come True…

Alaettin Şenel added, “While doing business in Europe, we were dreaming of putting Turkish products to world markets. We have been fighting on this issue for 30 years. While supplying products to the Turkish ethnic market and German markets in Germany, we returned home with a radical decision and mobilized our factory here. After having dominated America, Canada and Europe, we have entered the markets of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Dubai. As an export company, we aim to carry our already good line even higher.”
