İbrahim Yumaklı: There’s no artificial meat on our agenda!

Minister İbrahim Yumaklı stated that claims that ‘artificial meat will be produced in Türkiye’ were made in relation to the Climate Law, saying, ‘There is not a single word about artificial meat in the Climate Law; there is no such regulation.’

Agriculture and Forestry Minister İbrahim Yumaklı announced on his Next Social account that completely baseless claims and deliberate false news had been circulated in recent days regarding the Climate Law. 


Yumaklı also noted that among these, the false claims that ‘artificial meat will be produced in Türkiye’ and ‘they will eliminate livestock farming in the country and those engaged in livestock farming will not be permitted to continue’ were at the forefront.

“There is not a single word about artificial meat in the Climate Law; such a regulation does not exist. Artificial meat has never been on the agenda of our ministry,” he added…
