The harvest of the fruit, which is grown in some regions of Bursa and is considered to be the world’s highest quality black fig, has started.
Due to the weather conditions, the black fig harvest started 20 days earlier than last year and the yield soared by 15 percent as there was no shedding of fruits.
The harvest has started in Türkiye’s western province of Bursa’s black figs, which are accepted as the world’s highest quality figs with their shelf life, appearance and taste.
