The fair, held at the ANFAŞ Congress and Exhibition Centre, was attended by 725 companies from 36 countries.

Growtech Antalya Agricultural Fair coordinator Engin Er told journalists that this year they had reached the highest number of both countries and companies.

Er noted that 45 percent of participants were from abroad, adding, ‘China is here with 140 companies, and the number of companies from India exceeded 30. There are companies from all over the world, including Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Korea and Japan. Irrigation and fertiliser companies are predominant.’

Er stated that they aim to exceed 40,000 visitors this year, 20% of whom will be foreign and emphasised that agriculture is an important sector that will never die.

Explaining that Growtech is not just an event consisting of stands, Er said, “There will be 23 sessions over 4 days, with 86 speakers. Some of the participants will be from abroad. There will be an Agricultural Diplomacy Panel. It will be an environment where developments in agriculture in Türkiye, trends in Europe and around the world will be discussed.”

The fair will feature sessions on various topics, including ‘Agriculture in 2050: Global Trends and Regional Differences’ and ‘Agricultural Technologies and Innovation.’

Additionally, panels addressing international cooperation and trade opportunities, such as ‘Agricultural Diplomacy and Trade in Turkic States,’ ‘Seed Trade and Investment Opportunities between Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Türkiye,’ and ‘International Agricultural Diplomacy,’ will be organised…

The fair will remain open until 21 November…
