Turkey’s first food specialized organized industrial zone (OIZ) will be established in Ayvalık district of Balıkesir province…
Investors from various sectors such as dairy and meat products, olive processing, fruit juice production, pulses drying and packaging and biscuit production are expected to take part in Ayvalık OIZ.

Stating that they have started to plan the Altınova Organized Industrial Zone for food production, marketing and sales, which is located in a central area in the triangle of İzmir, Balıkesir and Manisa provinces, Mayor Ergin explained, “Our food industry region, which has multiple transportation facilities, land, sea, air, railways and multiple transportation opportunities, will be a center of attraction very soon.”
Expressing that its proximity to Çandarlı Port, which is expected to be one of the few ports in the world, is a great advantage, Ayvalık Mayor Mesut Ergin said that the region planned especially for the food sector will be of great interest in a short time.
