While agricultural products were represented with a share of 36 percent in the last year’s exports of Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EİB), Aegean Fisheries and Animal Products Exporters’ Association achieved the highest export among agricultural associations with an export of 1 billion 175 million dollars.

Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association (EYMSİB) sets a new record every year. By the end of 2020, EYMSİB, which managed to exceed 1 billion dollars for the first time in its history with 1 billion 40 million dollars of exports, reached the level of 1 billion 125 million dollars.
Cereals, pulses and oilseeds surpassed the target…
The Aegean Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Products Exporters’ Association, which set an export target of 550 million dollars for 2021, surpassed its export target by reaching an export level of 573 million dollars in a one-year period.
While the Aegean Olive and Olive Oil Exporters’ Association achieved an export of 161 million dollars with a horizontal course in the last 1-year period, the Aegean Leather and Leather Products Exporters’ Association achieved an export increase rate of 14 percent and earned 148 million dollars in foreign currency in Turkey.
Cahit Doğan Yağcı, Chairperson of the Aegean Furniture Paper and Forest Products Exporters’ Association, underlined that the exports of non-wood forest products also showed a development of 22 percent.
“We achieved 19 percent increase in exports in oregano, the locomotive of non-wood forest products and 18 percent in laurel,” Yağcı said.
