Balparmak, which stands by the citizens who were damaged in the forest fires in different regions and identifies the needs of the beekeepers in the region, will purchase 30 million TL worth of honey from the beekeepers of Muğla province and make the payment in cash.
Balparmak Chairman of the Board Özen Altıparmak, who announced that the honey of Muğla beekeepers affected by the fire disaster will be purchased through cash payment, informed that they also provide support for the general needs of beekeepers.
Extending his best wishes to the whole country and the industry, Altıparmak said, “As Turkey’s 40-year-old honey brand, we have closely followed the situation in the region from the very first day. We provided our support in the region by ourselves. We have prepared a gradual support plan for our beekeepers from Muğla who suffered from the disaster.”
“First of all, we provided on-site support within the scope of basic aid materials with our volunteer teams consisting of our Balparmak employees. In addition, we determined the needs of our local beekeepers who were damaged in the villages we visited and then we launched our financial support package,” Altıparmak said.
“Bees will fly again in the forests of Muğla and our beekeepers will harvest their honey, as they have done so far. We will get through this difficult period together, hand in hand,” Altıparmak added…
