The exports of the cereals, pulses and oilseeds sector increased by 6.8 percent annually, becoming the third sector with the highest increase in foreign sales. Turkey in January-October period has sold 7.7 million tonnes of cereals. Among the products of the sector, the product with the highest export on value basis was recorded as wheat flour with 798.6 million dollars.
Turkey’s cereals, pulses, oilseeds and products exports this year has exceeded 5.9 billion dollars, an increase of 6.8 percent in the first 10 months compared to the same period last year.
According to data compiled from the Central Anatolian Exporters’ Associations (OAİB), Turkey has sold 7.7 million tonnes of cereals in the January-October period.
Exports from the said sector increased by 6.8 percent in 10 months of the year compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 5 billion 915 million 534 thousand dollars.
Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Products sector has managed to be 3rd among Turkey’s 27 exporting sectors in January-October period, that recorded highest increases.
