Exports from the Eastern Black Sea region provinces; Trabzon, Rize, Artvin and Gümüşhane amounted to 1 billion 752 million 344 thousand 554 dollars in 2024 and there was a 27 percent increase in the exports of the region compared to the previous year.
In 2024,1 exports worth of billion 355 million 666 thousand dollars was realised from Trabzon, 238 million 825 thousand dollars from Rize, 79 million 613 thousand dollars from Artvin and 78 million 240 thousand dollars from Gümüşhane province.
Compared to the same period of the previous year, exports from Trabzon, Rize, Artvin and Gümüşhane provinces increased by 27 percent, 18 percent, 20 percent, 20 percent and 62 percent, respectively.
In 2024, the sectors with the highest exports from Trabzon, Rize, Artvin and Gümüşhane provinces; hazelnut with 836 million 600 thousand dollars, aquaculture and livestock products with 254 million 690 thousand dollars, mining and metals with 204 million 627 thousand dollars, fresh Fruits and vegetables with 181 million 568 thousand dollars, chemicals and products with 41 million 107 thousand dollars…
