Stating that they are the brand that introduced turkey meat to Türkiye, Pınar Meat, General Manager Hüseyin Demir said that consuming extremely healthy, nutritious and delicious turkey meat both strengthens the immune system and helps protect heart health.
While the production and consumption of turkey meat, the indispensable flavour of New Year’s tables, is increasing year by year, turkey meat exports continue to grow at the same rate. Pınar Meat, Türkiye’s leading food company, General Manager Hüseyin Demir said that increasing turkey consumption per capita in Türkiye is of great importance as it is an alternative to red meat.
“Consuming extremely healthy, nutritious and delicious turkey meat both strengthens the immune system and helps protect heart health,” Demir added.
Emphasising that turkey meat consumption per capita in the country is considerably lower than the desired level, Pınar Meat General Manager Hüseyin Demir concluded, “We see that the consumption of turkey meat, which is 540 grams per capita in Türkiye, remains at very low levels when the consumption of European Union countries is taken into consideration. Turkey consumption has the potential to boost to 5-6 kg per capita in our country.”
