Historical record in table olive exports!

Türkiye reaches 210 million dollars in table olive exports…

Türkiye, which entered the 2024/25 season with the goal of world leadership in table olives, left the 2023/24 season behind with a historical record in exports. Türkiye’s table olive exports soared by 14 percent in the 2023/24 season, rising from 184 million to 210 million dollars.

Davut Er, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Aegean Olive and Olive Oil Exporters’ Association (EZZİB), noted that Türkiye has reaped the fruits of its investments in the olive sector for the last 25 years with the development in export figures and expressed that they entered the 2024/25 season with great hopes.

Explaining that olives flavour many dishes from bread to salads, pasta to pizzas, Er said, “In the 2023/24 season, our black olive exports reached 162.5 million dollars while our green olive exports reached 47.5 million dollars.”
