Akdeniz University announced that the Agricultural Technology Park, which will shape the future of agriculture with advanced technology and scientific infrastructure, will be established in Antalya province.

According to a statement from the university, the Antalya Agricultural Technology Park, declared as an additional area of the Western Mediterranean Technology Park Technology Development Zone TGB-2 by presidential decree, will be established in Aksu district on an area of approximately 1,100 decares.
The technology park will create clusters of excellence in areas such as water-efficient production systems, smart greenhouse automation, biotechnology and genetic improvement, agricultural robots, precision farming and artificial intelligence applications.
Thus, farmers, entrepreneurs, industry representatives and academics will come together in the same field to develop innovative solutions that will shape the future of agriculture.

Dr. İbrahim Yavuz, General Manager of Antalya Technopark, noted that they were delighted to see the project, which they had been working on for many years, come to fruition.
