Press release…
The International Nut and Dried Fruit Council (INC), the highest consultation platform of dried fruits and dried fruits worldwide, announced the nut, dried fruit and snack preferences of Generation Z in Latin America.

International Nut and Dried Fruit Council (INC) Türkiye Ambassador Ahmet Bilge Göksan stated that the most consumed nuts by Generation Z are peanuts, almonds and walnuts, followed by cashews, hazelnuts and pistachios.
Indicating that raisins, dried cranberries and prunes also lead dried fruit consumption, Göksan said, “96 percent of Generation Z, known as the ‘snack generation’, reported that they consume snacks between meals, preferring yoghurt, dairy products and fresh fruit.”
“To increase consumption of nuts and dried fruits, INC recommends that marketing campaigns focus on their uses and health benefits. INC launched NutTunes, a series of videos featuring 3D animation and artificial intelligence technology to capture the attention of target audiences. The campaign will be broadcast on social media with specialised content for each market. ‘The Nut Tunes’ playlist is also available on Spotify, the world’s largest music platform,” Göksan noted.
Highlighting that Generation Z is the most important generation of the next 10 years as it has the power to determine trends, Göksan added, “INC aims to promote healthy eating among Generation Z through the consumption of nuts and dried fruits.”
