TRABZON CONTINUES TO EXPORT DESPITE COVID-19…

Saffet Kalyoncu, Chairman of the Board of the Eastern Black Sea Exporters Association, said in his written statement that despite the effects of the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic, exports from Trabzon province did not lose speed and it was almost overwhelmed by the effect of the normalization steps taken in June and the measures applied in the real sector.

Kalyoncu pointed out that Trabzon is the most exported city among the 18 provinces in the Black Sea Region and that in June 2020, exports to 72 countries amounted to 77 million 390 thousand 394 dollars.

Kalyoncu added that the Russian Federation, Canada and Germany are among the top export countries and that hazelnuts, fresh vegetables and fruits and seafood are the most exported products.
