GÜBRETAŞ, (Gübre Fabrikaları T.A.Ş.) founded in 1952 to provide fertilizers to Turkish agricultural industry, a subsidiary of the Turkish Agricultural Credit Cooperatives, made a statement and said that in order to ensure the smooth process of agricultural production in Turkey, especially in epidemic they have mobilized all their capabilities at the point of supply of fertilizers to farmers and continued support.
“We achieved record results in this challenging period in which we continued our supports to farmers by mobilizing all our facilities, because we believe in the importance of agricultural production,” stated the company.
In this challenging period, GÜBRETAŞ broke the sales volume and consolidated turnover records of the company’s history when viewed on the basis of first quarters.
In the first quarter, the company’s Interest, Depreciation and Pre-Tax Profit (EBITDA) increased by 13 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, while the net profit of the parent company as of 31 March was 69.7 million liras.
Pointing out that the uncertainty caused by coronavirus pandemic added to agenda in March as the beginning of the critical spring season in terms of agricultural production in Turkey, İbrahim Yumaklı, General Director of GÜBRETAŞ, keeps its global impact on the transition process to new normal.
