Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EİB) achieved exports of 1 billion 468 million dollars in April. EİB’s exports soared by 9 percent compared to the exports of 1 billion 346 million dollars in April 2024.
As to EİB’s agrifood exporters, having reached the highest export level in history with 1 billion 65 million dollars of export in the 100th year of the Republic and having experienced losses in exports in 2024, the Aegean Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds and Products Exporters’ Association is healing its wounds in 2025. The Association has managed to raise its exports by 19 percent from 77.7 million dollars to 92.8 million dollars in April and by 9 percent from 347 million dollars to 379 million dollars in the January-April period of 2025.
The decline in fresh fruit, vegetable and products exports halts…
The Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association (EYMSİB), which is the leader in plant product exports within the Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EİB), halted the decline in exports in recent months in April. Having increased its exports by 7 percent from 80 million dollars to 86.7 million dollars in April, EYMSİB held on to the sixth place in the ranking within the EİB.

The Aegean Dried Fruit and Products Exporters’ Association, which delivers the Turkish world-leading seedless raisins, dried apricots and dried figs to all corners of the world, boosted its exports by 17 percent in April from 70 million dollars to 82 million dollars. The amount of foreign exchange that the Association brought to the country in the last 1-year period boosted by 8 percent, reaching 1 billion 106 million dollars.
The tobacco sector is running towards 1 billion dollars in exports…
The export performance of the Aegean Tobacco Exporters’ Association in April surged by 16 percent compared to April 2024, from 64.8 million dollars to 75 million dollars. The Association’s annual exports surged by 6 percent, from 892 million dollars to 948 million dollars.
The Aegean Furniture Paper and Forest Products Exporters’ Association, representing the furniture, wood, paper and forest products sub-sectors, increased its exports by 4 percent in April from 65.7 million dollars to 68.5 million dollars.
Due to the decrease in olive oil prices due to the spike in olive oil yields worldwide, the export figures of the Aegean Olive and Olive Oil Exporters’ Association (EZZİB) decreased by 34 percent in April.
