“WE WILL RAMP UP OUR EXPORTS IN 2024”

Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EIB) will organise national participation in 13 fairs and 13 sectoral trade delegations in 2024…

The Aegean Exporters’ Associations, brought Türkiye 18.5 billion dollars in export foreign currency in 2023, will promote Turkish export products at fairs to be held all over the world in 2024 and will bring exporters and importers together in bilateral business meetings with sectoral trade delegation and procurement delegation organisations.

Gürle; “In 2024, we will hold 4 sectoral trade delegations and 1 procurement delegation”

Aegean Furniture Paper and Forestry Products Exporters’ Association, while working overtime on the URGE Project (Development of International Competition Project), named Aegean Furniture, Game Changer Design Competition, Vocational Training to enhance value-added furniture exports in the Aegean Region, included 4 sectoral trade delegations and a procurement delegation in its 2024 agenda.

Informing that they will hold their first sectoral trade delegation to Saudi Arabia in February 2024, Ali Fuat Gürle, Chair of the Aegean Furniture, Paper and Forestry Products Exporters’ Association, emphasised that they will strive to reflect the positive developments in political relations between Türkiye and Saudi Arabia on our export figures. Gürle said, “In order to strengthen our position in the North and West African market, we will add a new ring in May 2024 to the sectoral trade delegations to Morocco in recent years. We are planning a sectoral trade delegation to India in November. In 2024, another country where we will hold a sectoral trade delegation will be South Africa, as in 2023.”

“We will also organise a buying delegation to bring importers from all over the world to the MODEKO Fair held in Izmir. With these activities, we want to stop the decline in our exports and ramp up in 2024,” Gürle added…
