Veysel Memiş, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mediterranean Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds and Products Exporters’ Association (AHBİB), noted that they supported the promotional activities carried out by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds and Products Sector with the Bulgur Promotion Project as AHBİB.
Veysel Memiş also announced that they will introduce the unique flavour of Anatolia to the whole world under the brand of Turkish Food Exporters (TGI).
Stating that they will carry out the Bulghur Promotion Project approved by the Ministry of Trade as a Turquality Promotion Project in cooperation with the Southeastern Anatolian Exporters’ Associations (GAIB) and Black Sea Exporters’ Associations (KIB), Memiş said, “We will introduce Anatolian flavours with Bulgur to all target countries and the world by producing content that emphasises natural, organic and healthy products. We will make effective promotions in Russia, which we have determined as the target market in our one-year project.”
“In the first stage of our project, we shot promotional films in Mersin and Mardin regions with a team from Russia. We launched our website and social media accounts in Russian under the name ‘TurkishBulghur’. We will enrich our project, which we will expand with digital campaigns and various activities, with tasting events and television programmes. We are also working to declare World Bulgur Day on behalf of this product, which we believe will have an important place in the nutrition culture of the future with its nutritional values,” Memiş added…
