Renewable energy investments are accelerating…
Tat Gıda is also accelerating its investments in renewable energy as part of its sustainability strategy. The company’s 1.98 MWe solar power plant (SPP), established in Akçaköy, Yunusemre, Manisa, came online in 2025. With an annual electricity generation capacity of approximately 3,800 MWh, the facility covers around 19.5 per cent of the company’s total energy consumption from renewable sources.
With the commissioning of the second solar power plant currently under construction in the Dinar district of Afyonkarahisar, it is planned that a significant portion of the company’s energy needs will be met from renewable sources. Tat Gıda has also committed to reducing carbon emissions by 55 per cent by 2030 and achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, in line with the European Green Deal…
