TURKEY’S FIRST NATIONAL ELECTRIC TRACTOR ON TESTING PHASE…

Tekirdağ – Turkey’s first national and local electric tractor, is being tested in Tekirdağ Viticultural Research Institute. General Director of Agricultural Research and Policies Özkan Kayacan made explanations about the characteristics of the electric tractor.

“We can use it between 10 and 12 hours”

Özkan Kayacan, General Manager of Agricultural Research and Policies, said in a statement that he participated in the test studies and said, “We can use it for 7 hours, except that we can use it for about 10 to 12 hours, such as trailer towing, load towing, spraying, etc. It was a dream when we first started. We have achieved a lot more power than we really expected, hopefully we are ready to put this power in the service of our farmers with a few different software.”
