Adana Governor Süleyman Elban announced that the 5th International Taste of Adana Festival, which will be held between 8-10 October, will provide pleasant moments to local and foreign tourists and said, “Everyone in Adana needs to support and help during these 3 days.”
The introductory meeting of the International Taste of Adana Festival, which will be held for the 5th time between 8-10 October this year with the theme of ‘Geography is Flavour’, was held in a hotel in the city. Adana Governor Süleyman Elban along with district mayors, heads of chambers, representatives of non-governmental organizations and stakeholders of the festival attended the meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, Governor Süleyman Elban reminded that they held this festival in digital environment last year in Adana, which has a high potential in terms of agriculture, tourism, gastronomy and trade.
Governor Elban said, “We received positive reactions and about 50 million people followed our festival. Hundreds of thousands of people will probably come to Adana on October 8-10. This flavour festival will give people coming to Adana from outside to have fun and enjoyable moments. It will be 3 stressful days for the people of Adana, because during this period we have a responsibility to offer quality Adana flavours, to deliver them on time and not to say ‘it’s over.’ During these 3 days, everyone in Adana needs to support and help. We think people will leave satisfied.”
