With the participation of 45 representatives from 17 different countries, FEAP (Federation of European Aquaculture Producers) General Assembly was held on 23-24 May at Wyndham Grand Istanbul Levent Hotel in Istanbul with the organisation of Aegean, Istanbul and Mediterranean Aquaculture and Animal Products Exporters’ Associations.

Speaking on behalf of Türkiye at the meeting, Sinan Kızıltan, Chairman of the Turkish Seafood and Animal Products Exporters’ Associations Sector Board, said that thanks to the Turkish Tastes TURQUALITY Project, they have been effectively promoting Turkish seafood products in the US market since 2018.
Pointing out that their recently launched Turkish Sea Food Turquality project aims to showcase the unique flavours of Turkish seafood products worldwide, he said., “Within the scope of these projects, we want to establish strong ties with industry professionals around the world. We cooperate with prestigious institutions such as universities, restaurant associations and culinary federations. We continue to emphasise exceptional quality through various tasting events and chef competitions.”
“With TURQUALITY and Development of International Competitiveness Projects, we endeavour for Turkish fishery exports to surpass 2 billion dollars in 2028.” he added…
