Şenpiliç enhances production and employment with the contract farming model…

Şenpiliç, located in Türkiye’s northwestern province of Sakarya, an integrated chicken meat producer, continues its sustainable growth in the chicken meat sector with its production infrastructure and extensive contract farmer network. The company added 1,400 broiler chicken houses to the Şenpiliç ecosystem through its contract production model, providing indirect employment for 4,200 people last year.

Şenpiliç also expands its ecosystem by supporting its production infrastructure with contract farms. Operating with over 3,700 direct employees, 1,400 broiler chicken houses, 24 breeding farms, 3 hatcheries, 3 feed factories and modern slaughterhouses, the company grows alongside its producers through its contract production model. By 2024, the company aims to provide indirect employment for 4,200 people with a total of 1,400 broiler chicken houses.

Şenpiliç Live Production Deputy General Manager Mehmet İyneci stated that rural development is a natural outcome of the contract production model, saying, “Rural development is not a goal for us; it is the natural outcome of our business model. With the income and employment opportunities we offer to our contract farmers operating in Sakarya, Adana, Samsun and surrounding provinces of Türkiye, we not only expand production but also provide local economic dynamism.”
