AKİB MADE AN EXPORT OF 1.3 BILLION DOLLARS WITH A HIKE OF 12 PERCENT IN APRIL…
R. Onur Kılıçer, Coordinator President of Mediterranean Exporters’ Associations (AKİB), announced that they exported 1 billion 308 million dollars in April.
Kılıçer stated that despite the long holiday in April, they achieved a 12 percent increase in the amount of exports compared to the same period last year and said, ‘We strive to take our place in every market worldwide, from Asia to Africa, from America to Europe, from the Middle East to the Far East. The countries we exported the most in this period were Iraq, the USA and the Netherlands. We got record export volume increases in Malta, the Netherlands, Belgium, Morocco and the US markets.’

Highlighting that AKİB, which is a big family with nearly 27 thousand members across Türkiye, especially in Mersin, Adana, Hatay, Kayseri and Karaman provinces, reached the highest values in the exports of AKİB in April in the chemical, iron-steel, cereals and pulses sectors, AKİB Coordinator President R.
