Press release…
Olive Producers and Industrialists Association (ZEYDER) 5th Ordinary General Assembly meeting was held. In the general assembly, olive and olive oil industrialist Mustafa Alhat, from Aegean province of Manisa’s district Akhisar, has been elected as the new president of ZEYDER.
The 5th Ordinary General Assembly meeting of ZEYDER, which was established in 2016 to create a common mind for the development of the olive sector, was held. While the board of directors was discharged unanimously in the general assembly, the auditing board report and income-expenditure budget were discussed and accepted. The members of the board of directors elected in the elective general assembly, which went with a single list, unanimously decided to appoint Mustafa Alhat as chairman, Remzi Bayram as vice chairman and Mehmet Şen as general secretary.
In his speech, Mustafa Alhat said that he is happy and excited to be in the management of the association they established in 2016.
“In the new period, we plan to hold meetings with sector representatives and producers in all olive growing regions of our country as much as possible and to create a common mind together and to convey our suggestions for solving the problems to the relevant institutions and organisations. We will determine our road map through close interaction with our members. We are in the harvest period of olives; I wish a good season to our farmers and all stakeholders who work in this sector,” Alhat said.
