Muhammet Öztürk, Chair of the Aegean Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Processed Products Exporters’ Association, stated that they take pride in having increased annual export figures from 682 million dollars when they took office to 1 billion 185 million dollars by the end of 2025, representing a 74 percent rise.

“Thanks to the dedicated efforts and determination of our members, our association has demonstrated sustainable growth by taking exports above the 1 billion dollar level,” said Öztürk. “We are navigating a period marked by intense global economic volatility, rising uncertainty and the effects of war; exchange rates have not reached desired levels, and climate change is exerting significant pressure on agricultural production. “Despite all these challenges, we have continued to produce and export. Together with you, our valued members and sector partners, we have achieved significant successes. We will develop projects to increase our exports to over 2 billion dollars by the end of our four-year term,” he said.
Providing information on the work carried out over the four-year period, Öztürk noted, “Under the banner of our ‘Turkish Food Exporters’ brand, we participated in the world’s nine most important international food fairs. At the tasting events we organised during these fairs, we presented menus prepared with our sector’s products to the visitors’ appreciation and endeavoured to showcase our values in the best possible way.”
“As the Food Associations under the umbrella of the Aegean Exporters’ Associations, we organised national participation in the world’s major food fairs. We successfully managed the national participation at Foodex Japan, the Summer Fancy Food Show, Biofach Nuremberg, Natural Products Expo West and the China Import Expo,” he added…
