Minister Kacır announced the good news: Milas Olive Oil is registered!
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır announced another geographical sign registered in the European Union (EU).
“Milas Oil Olives” was published in the Official Journal of the European Union and became Türkiye’s 14th geographical indication registered before the European Union.
Announcing the news, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır said, “We continue to make a name for ourselves with geographical indication applications made before the European Union. ‘Milas Oil Olives’, unique to Milas district of Muğla, has become one of our 14th registered geographical indications in the EU.”

“While supporting the increase in production with these precious products, which are representative of our cultural values, we continue to receive praise in the stage of promoting our country in the world market.
