“We aim to further advance Türkiye’s position in the global food supply chain.”
Delivering the opening address at the ceremony, AHBİB President Veysel Memiş stated that exporters have remained committed to production and foreign trade, despite shifting market conditions, rising costs and global uncertainties. Emphasizing that this success is the result of the collective effort of a broad spectrum of stakeholders, from producers and industrialists to employees and entrepreneurs, Memiş noted that the awards presented serve as a symbol of this hard work and determination.
Pointing to intensifying competition in global trade, mounting cost pressures and rapidly evolving consumer expectations, Memiş underscored the critical importance of exporters adapting to the conditions of this new era. “We aim to increase the value-added of our products, strengthen our brands, establish a lasting presence in new markets and further advance the country’s position within the global food supply chain,” he said.
