JAK ESKİNAZİ: AEGEAN EXPORTERS REACH 172 DIFFERENT EXPORT MARKETS

Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EIB) realized an export of 1 billion 238 million dollars with an increase of 4 percent in July.

EIB, which boosted its exports by 26 percent in the January-July period and brought 8 billion 884 million dollars to Turkey, reached 14 billion 820 million dollars with an acceleration of 16 percent in the last 1-year period.

Aegean Olive and Olive Oil Exporters’ Association reached the highest export increase in July with a rise of 54 percent and realized an export of 16 million dollars.

Aegean Fisheries and Animal Products Exporters’ Association, which exports the most among the Agriculture and Food Associations, closed the month of July with 110 million dollars with a rise of 25 percent.

Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association brought 90 million dollars to Turkey in July.

Exports of the Aegean Furniture Paper and Forestry Products Exporters’ Association went up to 53 million dollars in July, while the Aegean Tobacco Exporters’ Association reached 49 million dollars.

Aegean Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Products Exporters’ Association’s exports in July rose by 12 percent to 48 million dollars.

Exports of the Aegean Dried Fruits and Products Exporters’ Association reached 43 million dollars and the exports of the Aegean Textile and Raw Materials Exporters’ Association reached 22 million dollars.

Evaluating the month of July on the basis of countries, Jak Eskinazi, Coordinator of EIB, said that EIB increased its exports to 98 countries and regions by reaching 172 different export markets.
