Minister of Trade Ruhsar Pekcan, Agriculture and Forestry Minister Dr. Bekir Pakdemirli and The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Ceremony.
The ceremony was also attended by Barış Kocagöz, the Assembly President of İzmir Commodity Exchange (İTB).
Barış Kocagöz, representing İzmir Commodity Exchange which is an authorized agency and partner of TÜRİB said: “This new formation is the last and most beautiful step of the modern marketing system that started with licensed warehousing in agriculture. We are very happy to be able to reach these points.”
Kocagöz stated: “Established under the leadership of İTB to produce cotton storage and electronic product certificates (ELÜS) in licensed warehousing for the first time in our country together with İzmir Commodity Exchange, Aegean Agricultural Products Licensed Warehousing Inc. (Ege Tarım Ürünleri Licensed Depoculuk A.Ş.) will also operate in cotton ELÜS operations in TÜRİB.”
