Aegean Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Exporters’ Association (EYMSİB), the leader of Türkiye in the Export of Fruit and Vegetable Products, boosted its exports by 7 percent from 1 billion 216 million dollars to 1 billion 296 million dollars. In the first quarter of 2023, EYMSİB ramped up its exports by 36 percent from 272 million dollars to 322 million dollars. By keeping this pace, EYMSİB aims to bring 1.5 billion dollars of foreign currency to the country by the end of 2023.
Uçak: Farmer-Exporter cooperation brings success
Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association Chairperson Hayrettin Uçak, who touched on the intense cooperation of all agricultural sectors within the body of Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EIB) with farmers, said that this cooperation brought success in exports.
Uçak also stated that this cooperation underlies the increase in the export figure of the Aegean Region by more than 1 billion dollars in the last 1-year period.
Uçak added that they aim to export 1.5 billion dollars by the end of 2023 by maintaining the 18 percent increase rate that they achieved in the first quarter of 2023 in fresh fruit and vegetable exports…
