The Aegean Exporters’ Association (EIB), which is the leader in the export of agricultural products in Türkiye, has added a new link to its success chain by increasing the export of agricultural products to 7 billion 98 million dollars in the last 1-year period. Aegean agricultural products exporters are taking firm steps towards 10 billion dollars.
While Türkiye exported 34.5 billion dollars in the last 1-year period, Aegean exporters made 21 percent of the country’s agricultural product exports.
Eskinazi: Specialized Agricultural OIZs will bring 10 billion dollars in exports
Pointing out that they are the world’s largest supplier of seafood, olive and olive oil, fruit and vegetable products, dried fruits, tobacco, non-wood forest products, and oilseeds sectors, Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EIB) Coordinator Chair Jak Eskinazi said that with 4 agriculture-based specialized organized industrial zones (TDİOSB) being established in İzmir province, they will gain a new momentum in the greenhouse cultivation, medicinal and aromatic plants, ornamental plants and dairy products sectors.
He also stated that they foresee that the export of agricultural products of the Aegean Region will reach its target of 10 billion dollars in the next 3 years thanks to TDİOSBs.
