Chairwoman Gül Akyürek Balta, TÜİOSB Board Member Nil Ece Yamanyılmaz, TÜİOSB Regional Manager Ebru Karalar Akdeniz and representatives of investor companies attended the Digitalization, Green Reconciliation and Industry 4.0 Investments Training Seminar held at the TÜİOSB Regional Directorate.

Speaking at the opening of the training seminar, TÜİOSB Chairwoman of the Board Gül Akyürek Balta said that as Mersin’s first specialized OIZ, they made great efforts to implement modern and safe production centres with a strong infrastructure, while on the other hand, they focused on the green transformation mandated by the European Green Deal.

Balta also stated that they aim to gain a competitive advantage by exporting certified products under the “DigiGreenFoodValley” brand in the global arena.

Explaining the plans they have matured to become a digital green OIZ, Chairwoman of the Board Gül Akyürek Balta added, “Our main goals are sustainable export, green production and the power of data, while creating the digital value chain from field to fork in the green OIZ, which we will bring to our country in accordance with the European Green Deal, where Industry 4.0 rules are applied. digital transformation will be based on monitoring, verification, tracking and efficiency.”
