EXPORT OF AEGEAN AGRICULTURE SECTORS EXCEEDS 5 BILLION DOLLARS…

Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EİB) Coordinator Chairperson Jak Eskinazi said that the agricultural sectors have been strongly represented in the export pattern of the Aegean Exporters’ Associations throughout its 82-year history.

Eskinazi announced that the agricultural sectors within the EİB exceeded 5 billion dollars for the first time in 2020.

He stated that Aegean agricultural exporters made exports of 5 billion 632 million dollars with a performance increase of 12.3 percent between 20 November 2020 and 19 November 2021 and that they exceeded the 5.5 billion dollars export target that they set at the beginning of 2021.

EİB Coordinator Chairperson Jak Eskinazi also informed that Aegean Fisheries and Animal Products Exporters’ Association has increased its exports by 34 percent in the last year, while it is the leader of food exports with an export of 1 billion 275 million dollars. Aegean Fisheries and Animal Products Exporters’ Association is the export increase record holder among 7 agricultural exporters’ associations under the roof of EİB too.

Eskinazi added that Aegean Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Exporters’ Association is the summit partner with 1 billion 165 million dollars of exports and that the Aegean Dried Fruits and Products Exporters’ Association is the third strongest sector with 847 million dollars of exports.
