The Ministry of Agriculture has published: Here are the crops lists to be supported in the basins in 2022…

Within the scope of the Basin-Based Support Model, which is based on many items of plant production supports, the crop lists to be supported in the basins for 2022 have been published.

The Crop Lists to be Supported in the Basins in 2022, prepared by the General Directorate of Plant Production (BUGEM) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, were published in the announcements section of the ministry’s website.

21 crops will be supported under the Basin Based Support Model…

Within the scope of the Basin-Based Support Model initiated by the Ministry in 2017, diesel-fertilizer, certified seed use, difference payment, forage crops, in 21 products that have a supply deficit in the country, have strategic importance, have regional importance and are important in terms of human nutrition – health and animal production along with hazelnut field-based income support applications are carried out.

These crops are listed as wheat, barley, rye, paddy, grain corn, triticale, oats, lentils, chickpeas, dried beans, cotton, soybean, oil sunflower, canola, safflower, tea, hazelnut, olive-olive oil, potato, onion (dry) and fodder crops.

In order to determine the crops to be supported in the Agricultural Basins in the production year of 2022; Product lists were created by evaluating climate, soil, topography, water constraints, statistical data, crop rotation and provincial/district directorates and NGO suggestions together…
