20 May World Bee Day is celebrated every year to draw attention to the importance of honey bees, which play a critical role in the cycle of nature. Bees Do Not Only Produce Honey…
Bees not only produce honey, but also play a vital role in the continuity of the ecosystem by providing pollination in agriculture. According to the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), approximately 75 percent of food production worldwide depends on the pollination provided by bees. However, in recent years, serious declines in bee populations have been observed due to increasing climate change, pesticide use and the destruction of natural habitats.
