Türkiye exported sultanas (seedless raisin) to 77 countries in the first half of the 2024/25 season, while the UK remained at the top in exports. Türkiye exported 310 million dollars worth of sultanas in the 6-month period of the 2024/25 season.
Raisin exports to the UK surged by 50 percent from 59 million dollars to 88.5 million dollars.
Raisin exports to the Netherlands soared by 10 percent from 36 million to 40 million dollars and the Netherlands took its place on the second step of the summit.
Italy raised its sultanas imports from Türkiye by 32 percent from 23.6 million dollars in the first half of the 2023/24 season to 31.3 million dollars in the same period of the 2024/25 season, surpassing Germany to take third place.
Türkiye exported 310 million dollars worth of sultanas in the 6-month period of the 2024/25 season, with 263 million dollars, representing 85 percent of these exports, to European countries…
