The target for exports of cereals, pulses, oilseeds to the USA is 1 billion dollars…

“Anatolia, which is believed to be the homeland of agriculture, has very old stories to tell,” said Mustafa Terci, head of Aegean Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds and Products Exporters’ Association.

Stating that wheat was first produced on their land 12,000 years ago, Terci explained, “The first known flour mills are again in Anatolia. We aim to introduce this unique story of our industry, our understanding of sustainable and transparent production, our production power and technology in the USA more effectively through TURQUALITY Project.”

“Pasta products, which we have made the most exports as Turkey, wheat, flour, oil seeds such as sesame seeds, vegetable oils, we provide detailed information about our products and sugary sectors in the negotiations we have been carrying out in this country,” Terci added.

“As an industry, a total of 7.3 billion dollars export is made to the world from Turkey. When we look at the USA, we export 373 million dollars and our aim is to increase this figure to 1 billion dollars with such projects and to provide the export of more value-added products with brand value,” Terci concluded…
