Oba Makarna (Pasta), which realises 25 percent of pasta production in Türkiye and 7 percent of global pasta trade, took its place in Dubai Gulfood Fair, one of the biggest food fairs of the world, this year.

Bringing Turkish pasta to the tables of the world with 40 different product types, Oba Makarna took its place in Dubai Gulfood Food Fair, which is considered as one of the biggest organisations of the global food industry with nearly 6 thousand participants and over 200 thousand visitors every year. Oba Makarna expanded its international business connections by ranking among the companies that accepted the highest number of visitors at the fair, which is described as the gateway of the global food industry to the Middle East, Africa and the United States of America (USA), as in the previous year.
‘Exports to more than 100 countries in 6 continents’
Alpaslan Özgüçlü, CEO of OBA Makarna, pointed out that Dubai Gulfood Food Fair plays a major role in determining the annual strategy of many countries and companies and said, “At Dubai Gulfood Food Fair, which we had a very productive year this year, our products attracted the greatest interest from business people from Africa, Asia, USA and Far East, especially Middle East countries. At the fair, we signed business agreements totalling 35 million dollars with business delegations from Somalia, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Togo and Benin.”
